  • 6 days. 252 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
    20 tents. 42 hammers. 42 hearts. 3 new houses.
    ONE God.
Your alternative spring break adventure has returned! Come join us as we seek to build hope for Mexican families who are in need. Partnering with Amor Ministries, we will spend our days building homes and playing with the neighborhood kids; and our evenings in incredible fellowship around a roaring bon-fire as we camp out under the stars.

  • July 7 - 12 All J/H and S/H Youth 2008 Barefoot Republic Camp Application

  • Being barefoot is a sign of vulnerability, our humanity, as well as a sign of our brokenness. It is only when we admit that we are barefoot, that we are able to comprehend our need and receive God's provision.

Barefoot Republic is a vehicle of hope. Barefoot will offer a glimpse of Heaven to a population of kids in need of the ability to dream of what God can do with their lives by uniting them with their parents, community and the church
to help define His eternal purpose for each one of them.

The mission of Barefoot Republic is to facilitate the development of Christ-centered relationships between individuals who represent diverse racial, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, through an equally diverse
platform of artistic, athletic and team building programs.

To learn more about Barefoot Republic, check out their webpage at www.barefootrepublic.org.

  • June 23 - 28 Rising 9th Chattanooga, TN

  • Please join us for an awesome week in Chattanooga, where will partner with Widow's Harvest, a Christian-based non-profit service organization assisting widows and single mothers in a number of areas, including home repair. Mission trippers will also have the chance to work with an inner-city Children's Ministry. We will stay at Harrison Bay State Park and have evening programs of fellowship, singing, worshipping and praying.

  • July 14 - 19 Rising 10th Cranks Creek, KY

  • Cranks Creek, KY is a poor, rural area whose economy has been heavily dependent upon coal mining. As the demand for coal has declined, so too has the ability of the residents to provide for themselves. We will join other church youth groups to perform such home repairs as roofing, painting, and deck construction through the Cranks Creek Survival Center; there is no free-day activity near this remote area, but there's always the lake and Wal-Mart!!
Each participant will be asked to help provide tools for our work.

  • June 23 - 29 Rising 11th Reynosa, Mexico

  • Imagine living atop a former landfill covered with just 6-12 inches of dirt. Imagine assembling a "home" with whatever you can find because the government doesn't provide housing for the poor. Imagine living in this shanty of a home knowing that for up to 3 years the government can order you out with just 6 hours notice. These are the living conditions faced by many families in Reynosa, Mexico. We will serve there by building 12' X 24" cement block homes that will either be the first permanent home for a Mexican family or an additional home on a small lot for a growing family. Reynosa, Mexico is a border town located just across from McAllen, TX. Join as we build homes and provide a time of playful fun for the little ones in the nearby Mexican neighborhoods. Participants will need some additional spending money for meals en route to/from Reynosa and for the free day activity that includes shopping/dining in a popular street market.

  • June 10 - 19 Rising 12th Jamaica

  • The Caribbean island of Jamaica, a former colony of Spain and England, is known by many as a vacation spot or cruise ship stop. When you sign up for this trip, you'll be among the fortunate few who also know the joy and hearts of the Jamaican people. Whether it's sharing in the beauty of their amazing sunsets or mountain foliage, or learning from the Jamaican tradesmen leading our work crews, you'll grow to love the Jamaicans like family.
Working with the Salvation Army and local pastors, we'll do concrete block builds, visit the residents of the Infirmary, provide children's ministry and tour the island a little. Participants will need some additional spending money for meals
en route to/from and in Jamaica as well as for tourist shopping at an area market.

  • June 8 - 17 Graduating HS Senior Ecuador

  • Ever wondered what it would be like to stand in both hemispheres at the same time? Ever been to a cloud forest? Through Youth World International, we will serve our God in Ecuador by serving others with the love of Him in us. Come home challenged to be obedient to God no matter where He calls you or what He calls you to do. This is your time!!
