Wednesday Night School of Christian Living
On Wednesdays beginning in September, FPC offers several terms of classes for its members and guests. This School of Christian Living is quite popular as the adult classes take place during the during same time period as children's and adult's choir practice. Some classes we have offered in the past are Celebrating the Good & Imperfect Life, Conversational Spanish, Exploring the Way: Christian Spiritual Practices, and Adult Computer Instruction. Every term, as well as every year, offers something new. Click here to see current class offerings.
Prior to classes and practices starting, everyone is invited to join in for the Wednesday Night Dinner. The dinner is prepared in house and offers something for everyone. Dinner is by reservation and the church office will begin taking those in late summer. |

Wednesday Nights at First Presbyterian Church
You've never experienced Wednesdays at FPC? Adult classes, Youth LAF, children's choirs, committee get-togethers, computer classes, adult choirs, special guests and events—all are part of this marvelous weekly get-together of over 400 of us in the most intergenerational setting you'll find at this big church. Your reservation options are these:
Standing Reservation: Dinner is ready for you at every one of the Wednesday meals in Courtenay Hall, all through the year. Just call the church at 383-1815 ahead of time if you are going to miss a dinner, or if not all your family is coming to a particular meal. You pay for dinner when you arrive.
Week-to-Week Reservation: Register by noon Monday for each week's dinner you are signing up for. Dinner will be ready for you, and you pay upon arrival.
The Key to the Wednesday Night Dinner Process: The church office must know whether you are coming or whether you are not coming (if you have a reservation). We want to be good stewards of our food this year; your thoughtfulness in this matter is greatly appreciated.
The Nursery is open for children ages 5 and under from 5:45-7:30 p.m. Contact Nursery Coordinator Karen Fitts (kfitts@fpcnashville.org) with questions.
Dinner costs are the same as they were last spring:
* Adults (7th grade and up), $6.00;
* Elementary children, $2.50;
* Kindergarten and younger, $1.00;
* Family maximum cost, $18.00.
(By the way, you do not have to eat dinner to attend classes.)
