Continuing a 25-year tradition under the leadership of Gayle Alexander, daughter Anne Alexander Vincent leads the class in exploring the most fundamental but sometimes the most confusing concepts of Christian faith and spiritual wholeness. Biblical guidance, prayer and interactive discussion combined with cutting-edge research provide opportunities to build an unshakable foundation of faith and design for living while providing spiritual, mental, emotional and physical health benefits.

Having completed lessons on such important topics as Exercising The Power of Choice, A Fresh Look at Real Hope and Traveling the Road to Forgiveness, Spiritual Journey Class continues a series on "Your Personal Helper: Getting to Know the Holy Spirit". These lessons invite each class member to increase her understanding of the nature of the Holy Spirit from Biblical, Presbyterian and experiential perspectives.

Words From The Wise

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered; forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building someone could destroy overnight; build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; give the world the best you've got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God; it never was between you and them anyway.

Mother Teresa
