Current Events for All Grades
- Sunday Morning Worship @ 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.: Families and youth, please join us in the Sanctuary at one of these worship services each Sunday morning.
- Sunday Evening Worship Service @ 5:30 p.m. in the Enrichment Center Auditorium: The service is led by Trey Wince with a slightly more relaxed feel Come check it out!
- Barefoot Club: The dream of having camp throughout the year, also known as Barefoot Club, kicked off last year. We can't wait to carry on the mission of "unity in diversity" as we worship and fellowship together once again in the fall! Plan now to join us October 6, November 3, December 1, February 2, March 2 and April 6 in the Enrichment Center from 6:00 -8:00 p.m.
- Wednesdays through November 17: Rehearsals for Amahl and the Night Visitors: Are you: A Youth, A Singer, and Like the Theater? If so, We Need You! Doxology 2 (9th - 12th graders) will present Amahl and the Night Visitors on November 21. Weekly rehearsals are held on Wednesdays from 6:00-6:30 p.m. in the Chapel under the direction of Raphael Bundage. Additional choir members are needed for the cast. Contact the Music Department (298-9517) so that we can be prepared for you.
- Wednesdays: Junior and Senior High Wednesday 10:24 Groups meet from 6:15 – 7:15 p.m. The JH group joins Teddy and interns in the Youth Room (next to Courtenay Lounge) and the SH group meets with Courtney and interns in the Tyne House. Wednesday night 10:24 groups will meet weekly, except on Barefoot Club nights (the first Wednesday of the month.)
- Sunday, September 12: Fall Kick-Off is in the Enrichment Center Auditorium, 9:30 a.m. -10:45 a.m. All 7th-12th grade youth and their parents are invited to attend this fun and informative morning. Plans for the upcoming year, trips, and events will be shared. Don’t miss your opportunity to receive your own personal copy of our new 2010-2011 youth directory.
- Sunday, September 12: Crud Day is 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Register and pay online by clicking here by September 9 or download a registration form and pay with a paper check at this link. Remember, you must register and pay your $15 fee by September 9. Also, if you submit the paper registration form it requires a parent signature AND a phone # where the parent may be reached on Crud Day. Read more about Crud Day in this letter from Mark DeVries. Parents: Contact our CRUDDAY.COM co-chairs, Barabara Turner or Leigh Reames, to volunteer your "cruddy" talents. Check out their needs here. You don't want to miss the mud, welcoming the new 7th graders into the youth group or receiving the new cruddy 2010 t-shirt!

- Week of September 19: High School 10:24 Groups resume meeting at agreed times and locations. If you’re not already in a HS 10:24 group, contact Scott Hearon (615-298-9510 or shearon@fpcnashville.org) to find one that's right for you.
- Week of September 19: 8th Grade 10:24 Groups resume meeting at agreed times and locations. If you’re not already in a JH 10:24 group, contact Teddy Christenberry (615-298-9569 or tchristenberry@fpcnashville.org) to find the place where you belong.
- Sunday, September 26: Youth Inquirers' Class begins during the Sunday School hour. If you did not participate in confirmation classes and are interested in learning more about membership and FPC, come to the Cheek House Breakfast Room on September 26, and October 3, 10, 17, and 24.
