Current Events for All Grades
- Come spend time with our summer interns! Haley Davis and Lacy Lovell work with the junior high youth while Jay Milam and Cate Tidwell serve the high school youth.
- Sunday Morning Worship @ 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.: Families and youth, please join us in the Sanctuary at one of these worship services each Sunday morning.
- Sunday Evening Worship Service @ 5:30 p.m. in the OHS Enrichment Center Auditorium: The service is led by Trey Wince with a slightly more relaxed feel Come check it out!
- FLOOD RELIEF PROJECTS will be ongoing throughout the summer. Your interns will keep you updated with dates and times.
Youth Sunday School on August 1 and August 8
- 7th grade girls: meet in the youth room
- 7th grade boys: meet in Room L-202 (upstairs above library)
- 8th grade meets in room L-204 (upstairs above library)
- 9th meets in room # 100 in Enrichment Center (lower level)
- 10th grade meets in room # 100 in Enrichment Center (lower level)
- 11th and 12th grades meet in room # 105 in Enrichment Center (lower level)
Upcoming Events for All Grades
- Sunday, August 15: Our annual Prayer Partner get-together. This year’s gathering will be breakfast before church from 9:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. in the Enrichment Center Auditorium. All youth and their adult prayer partners are invited and encouraged to attend! This is a great opportunity for adult and youth prayer partners to spend a few minutes together while enjoying breakfast with Mark leading the program that morning. By the way, there is no charge for the breakfast! Register to attend by clicking this link.
- Saturday, August 21 - Sunday, 22: The annual Youth Fall Retreat to Camp Vesper Point for 7th - 12th graders. Saturday, August 21st morning departure and Sunday, August 22nd return at Noon. Want to sign up? Call the Youth Department at 298-9584.
- Sunday, September 12: Fall Kick-Off and Crud Day. Fall Kick-Off will be in the Enrichment Center Auditorium 9:30 a.m.-10:45 a.m.. Crud Day is 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. that afternoon. Click here to download the registration form and get it turned in by September 9 along with your $15 fee. Remember, the form requires a parent signature AND a phone # where the parent may be reached on Crud Day. Read more about Crud Day in this letter from Mark DeVries.
