Sandra Randleman serves as the Pastor for Congregational Care and Discipleship, a position she has held since the fall of 1999. Her areas of responsibility include congregational care, support groups, new members, and missions. Prior to entering the ministry, Sandra practiced law as an attorney for 16½ years, first in private practice and then as in-house counsel for a major corporation. She is a graduate of Samford University (B.A., M.A. in English), Vanderbilt Law School (J.D.), New York University School of Law (LL.M.) and Vanderbilt Divinity School (M.Div.). She was awarded a Certificate of Spiritual Formation from Columbia Theological Seminary in 2002, and a Doctor of Ministry Degree in May 2006. Sandra's ministry at First Presbyterian Church has brought her a great sense of joy and of having following God's call to serve God and people through ordained ministry.
Curriculum: Persons considering membership are encouraged to take the Inquirers' Class before joining First Presbyterian. In addition, anyone who wishes to obtain more information about the history, beliefs, ministries, and mission of First Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian (USA) denomination.
This class is offered four times a year.
