Our Facilities

The Early Preschool is situtated on the beautiful grounds and property of First Presbyterian Church, Nashville (FPC). The Early Preschool building and facilities were completed in 2008 as part of  a larger construction and renovation campaign for FPC and Oak Hill School. We have a secured Children's Wing with 11 classrooms, chapel classroom, kitchen, Grundy Hall for music class and indoor play, and a large outdoor playground and garden.  

 
Our Classrooms:

Polliwogs
 This room is for 1 year olds. There is a Monday /Wednesday class and a Tuesday /Thursday class with a maximum enrollment of 8 children per class. The teacher:child ratio is 1:4.

Frogs
This room is for 2 year olds. There is a Monday /Wednesday class and a Tuesday /Thursday class, with a maximum enrollment of 10 children per class. The teacher:child ratio is 1:5.

Ducks
This room is for 2 year olds. There is a Monday /Wednesday/ Friday class and a Tuesday/Thursday class, with a maximum enrollment of 10 children per class. The teacher: child ratio is 1:5.

Crickets & Bumblebees
These rooms are for 3 year olds. There is a Monday /Wednesday/ Friday class and a Tuesday/ Thursday class with a maximum enrollment of 12 children per class. The teacher: child ratio is 1:8.

Fireflies and Dragonflies
These pre-k classes are for children who are 4 & 5 years old. These classes meet Monday through Friday but there is an option to attend 3 days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), 4 days or 5 days. There are 2 teachers assigned to each class with a maximum enrollment of 12-15 children per class. Both Pre-K classes will work to prepare all children for success in Kindergarten.
