Sunday School Overview
Our Sunday School communities are created by age or grade of the child as of September 1, 2007. Each group has two classes: Alpha and Omega. Children are placed into a class based on class size.

Our core curriculum is We Believe: God's Word for God's People. It is written and published by the Presbyterian Church (USA). For more information, click here.

It incorporates three main actions that are deeply rooted in our Reformed tradition in order to fulfill our educational goals:

REMEMBER: Learn about God through the Bible and our Reformed tradition. The sessions are built around biblical texts and focus on theological themes important to the Reformed tradition. These themes include the sovereignty of God, the importance of the sacraments, sin and redemption, and our call to be witnesses and doers of justice.

RECOGNIZE: Listen and speak to God through prayers, psalms and songs. This emphasis encourages a connection between what we know about God and how we pray, worship and serve. Here we are connecting "head" and "heart."

RESPOND: Love God and others through our worship and service as Presbyterians. Here we connect "head," "heart," and "actions." The emphasis here is translating what we know into action.

Take-home sheets are the "bridge" into the home! These two-sided sheets are given weekly during class. One side has a summary of the day's session for the home. The other side contains some follow-up activities for your child. A section. "Consider the Season," includes information about the church year.
