Becky Fragasse - Youth Administrative Assistant
Becky joined FPC as the Youth Administrative Assistant in May of 1998, serving also as the Secretary for Mark DeVries, and assisting Bill Caruso, Director of Christian Education. Mark sometimes refers to her as "The Voice of the Youth Department", because she is the voice you often hear on the phone when you RSVP for youth events and call for general information.
Becky relates well to all the Youth Leaders, partially because her age is nearer to theirs than the kids' ages! Another favorite youth activity she enjoys is the annual Pancake Supper. Some of her other responsibilities include serving the Youth Department in designing postcards, letters, prayer partner lists, notarizing mission trip forms, and of course, compiling and updating the ever-useful annual Youth Directory.
She is a native of Nashville, having attended high school across the street from the church at John Overton High, and got her degree in Business Administration at Middle TN State University in Murfreesboro. Her business career has included 25 years as Office Manager/Administrative Assistant for the TN League of Savings Institutions, working with the TN State Legislature, and 2 years at the Pastoral Counseling Centers of TN, one of the local missions FPC supports.
Becky's passion is anything that relates to horses, especially riding her own TN Walking Horse, Spirit. She also enjoys reading, good movies, music appreciation, and spending relaxing time at home with her cat. She is an active member of a weekly Bible Study and of an ecumenical prayer group that also meets weekly. Proud to be a cancer survivor, Becky's favorite scripture quote is from Philippians 4:12, and she also believes in the Seabiscuit theme: "You're never too far behind to come back!"
