20s through 40s
The years after college for many are the equivalent of wandering in the wilderness. Young adults are often removed from what was once their immediate family, and find that their careers, education, and other factors have transplanted them to a foreign land.
Many of the young adults in Nashville come from all over the country and they are often beginning the next chapter in their lives. Jesus recognized the importance of starting out with a strong foundation. "Everyone then who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on a rock" (Matt 7:24, NRSV).
The young adult ministry at FPC seeks to strengthen the foundation of those in their twenties through forties through education, fellowship, and service. Whether you are single, married, a recent transplant, or a life-long Nashvillian, we invite you to browse through the FPC offerings.
Come visit "the 5:30," each Sunday evening from 5:30-6:45 P.M. in the Enrichment Center. This worship service is both contemporary and liturgical and is centered around being biblically literate and biblically active.
Young Adults (graduated college and up) meet Tuesdays, 6:30–8:00pm, at the home of Katy Miller and Meghan Backes (1147 Duncanwood Drive, 37204). Come for dinner, fellowship and Bible or book study.
